PRIVACY POLICY

One Line ("we", "us") is a puzzle game available at oneline.your.se. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions or requests: oneline@your.se.

What we collect

• Account data. When you play, an anonymous account is created automatically. If you register, we store your email address and chosen display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name from Google — never your Google password.
• Gameplay data. Levels played, scores, completion times, coin balance and transactions, and competition entries.
• Technical data.IP address (used for rate limiting and abuse prevention). Session tokens and offline progress are stored in your browser's local storage.
• Device identifier.The first time you play, your browser generates a random identifier and stores it locally. We receive only a one-way hash of it. We use it solely to detect one person entering a prize competition through several accounts. It is a random value — not a "fingerprint": we do not probe your hardware, fonts, or graphics, and it cannot identify you or follow you to other websites. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

How we use it

• To run the game and keep your progress across devices.
• To operate leaderboards and competitions — your display name and score are visible to other players.
• To verify winners and pay out prizes. Prize payouts may require additional identity verification.
• To detect and prevent cheating, fraud, and abuse.
• To send transactional emails (confirmation links, password resets). We do not send marketing email.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we process your data to perform our contract with you (running the game and competitions), for our legitimate interests (security, anti-cheat, service improvement), with your consent where required, and to comply with legal obligations (for example around prize payouts).

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that run the game on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), and Google (only if you choose Google sign-in). Prize payouts may require sharing necessary details with a payment provider. We may disclose data where the law requires it.

Retention

We keep your data while your account exists. Anonymous accounts that are never registered may be deleted after long inactivity. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time via oneline@your.se; we may retain records we are legally required to keep (for example payout records).

Your rights

Where the GDPR applies you have the right to access, correct, delete, and export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact oneline@your.se to exercise these rights. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

One Line is not directed at children under 13, and participation in real-money prize competitions requires being at least 18 (see the Terms of Service).

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above. Continued use of the game after a change means you accept the updated policy.
